It's been a really good, really busy year. I'm completely grateful for my glorious band and Carrot Top Records for sticking by me, all the folks who came out to our shows and for those who wrote to me telling me
what my music means to them, which means more than I can ever say.
My kid tells me I should find a new job. One that won't take me away from home. But she also tells me she's going to be a singer when she grows up and sing with me.
I've been thinking about writing another record this winter---not playing live shows so much but instead hunkering down and seeing what happens. And I'm due with a new baby in the spring so I'm prepping for a lot of good things coming.
But I wont disappear for long. I haven't completely figured out how to juggle everything but being a mother has showed me that if you want to get anything done, you just have to stop talking about it and do it.
So we'll see what happens!
Thank you for listening.
XO Megan

So, the next week will be madness. just had this video premiere yesterday.
AltarTV recorded this performance in Pittsburgh, PA June 22. It's a rare solo appearance for me. I'm used to having my amazing guys backing me up and was a bit nervous performing without them. But once I arrived and met all the really wonderful guys at AltarTV and saw the amazing set they had built for the video, I was immediately comfortable and excited to be a part of their work.
National Geographic Online is premiering my next big video july 6 or 7!!!!!!! Holy tornadoes. This will be exciting!
And World Cafe is airing July 10.
